My research largely focus on mental health and well-being for children as well as on mental health and associations with biomarkers.

Projects

In Elvis projektet we investigate mental health and wellbeing of children in joint physical custody and parents experiences of this living arrangement for young children. The project is funded through Länsförsäkringsbolagens forskningfond.

Project website: http://www.chess.su.se/research/projects/elvis-projektet

In BVC-ELVIS we are conducting research within the child health care centers (BVC) regarding new methods for nurses to work with psychosocial health. We will also collect data on the wellbeing of children living in joint physical custody (växelvis boende).

Doctoral thesis
My thesis Preterm birth- parents’ experiences, stress, affect and inflammatory markers explored psychosocial factors in relation to the risk of preterm delivery as well as associations between negative emotions and inflammatory markers during delivery. Two studies regarded parents’ experiences and stress in association with having a baby born preterm.
