Kristiina Rajaleid has background in mathematical statistics from under- and postgraduate studies at Tartu University, Estonia. She supervised seminars in biostatistics and epidemiology at medical faculty at Tartu University 2000-2005 and is involved in epidemiological research since 2003. She has contributed to analysis of data from the UBCoS Multigen project since 2004 and defended her PhD thesis in 2010.
